Did you ever wonder why the grass is cool while sidewalk is hot? This day camp explores the impact of temperature on surfaces we encounter every day. You will learn to use a laser infrared thermometer to take the temperature of a variety of surfaces and objects. You will report your findings to the NASA GLOBE database so other researchers can better understand life in the Pacific Northwest.
