Over 100 people joined us at Camp Wa-Ri-Ki on August 13th, for a variety of hands on learning adventures including animal tracks, a pollination station and a NASA GLOBE activity on erosion. In addition to nature stations, the Skamania County Fire Department made a special appearance and shared fire safety tips and helped keep us cool! The kids all walked away with some hard earned gems, animal tracks and art projects and a better understanding of the wonders of nature. A special thanks to the staff and volunteers who made this event such a success!
