Session 4: NASA GLOBE What’s the Big Deal?

Saturday, July 17th, 10:00am – 2:00pm | $45 per person | Group, School and Family Discounts Available

Did you ever wonder why the grass is cool while sidewalk is hot? This day camp explores the impact of temperature on surfaces we encounter every day. You will learn to use a laser infrared thermometer to take the temperature of a variety of surfaces and objects. You will report your findings to the NASA GLOBE database so other researchers can better understand life in the Pacific Northwest.

If you are a school or group wanting to register four or more campers for this program, please contact barbara@campwariki.com for pricing information.
